 Jeremy Claytore is a seasoned audit and risk professional with over 15 years of experience in internal controls, SOX 404 compliance, federal acquisition compliance, and governmental audit standards. His career spans both the private and public sectors, combining deep experience in Big 4 advisory roles with significant contributions to U.S. federal agencies and contractors.

Jeremy spent over a decade at KPMG and PwC, advising Fortune 500 financial institutions classified as “too big to fail” on internal control design, SOX readiness, and enterprise risk. He led large-scale internal audit projects, oversaw control testing efforts, and worked closely with cross-functional teams including legal, IT, finance, and external auditors.

Following his Big 4 tenure, Jeremy founded Claytore CPA, Inc., an independent advisory firm supporting both public companies and U.S. government agencies. In this role, he has managed teams executing Yellow Book audits under Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), including incurred cost audits, accounting system adequacy reviews (SF 1408), price proposal reviews, and SSAE 18 SOC 1 attestations.

His federal audit engagements span multiple agencies, including the Department of Energy (DOE), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), NASA, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). He has overseen audits for compliance with FAR Part 31, evaluated contractor cost proposals under TINA (Truthful Cost or Pricing Data), and supported corrective action plan development to address regulatory findings.
